inflamed cervix?????
I had a pap done on the same day i had a cervical polyup removed and the nurse called and told me that the results came back and my cervicx was inflameed... what does this mean? waht can cause this???

Please help!

Inflamed cervix is also known as "cervicitis", meaning there is some irritation on the cervix. You could call your doc and ask what may be causing the inflammation and whether or not you need antibiotics to help clear it up. The polyp that was removed may have been the cause of the pap reading as well. I personally would be calling the doc and getting more information. Good luck and I hope you get some answers.
