Well I had my ultrasound today, got lucky and there was a cancellation otherwise drI would have to wait until May 9,anyway that wa not the surprise I have had a few ultrasounds, and thought that I was only going to have a normal abdonminal ultrasound, well after she did the regular one then I had to have a transvaginal ultrasound, this was unexpected the k
dr. or lab didn't say anything about this when I booked, so I am worried that shse saw something and wanted to have a closer look. I am glad that they did. But yet concerned does anyone know if this type of ultasound is used to discover mennnorgia, any help ease my concerns would help. thanks
I think they also use the transvaginal because it gives a better view of the ovaries. Very unnerving that you did not have advance warning about this, I would be concerned too. Can you call your doctor and discuss your concerns about this?
I hope you can get ahold of your doctor and get some answers or at least some reassurance.

She siad that he would have results in three days, so I will call him on Friday, 2 more days and counting........When did you live here I have been here for 34 years, moved here when I was 4.
Hey, that's probably good news that he will have the results in three days. I would think if there was something really worrisome, they would have called him with the results. Good luck on Friday, I hope it comes soon for you!
