anyone have severe cramps after leep - Cancer: Cervical & Ovarian Message Board

I had my leep 6 days ago and have just started cramping really bad. Is this normal? thanks

I didn't have LEEP but I did have a cold knife cone biopsy last Thursday and boy did I have cramps after! They finally subsided yesterday. I also had mild cramping for 2 days after my colposcopy. So my bet is, they can probably all cause cramping.

I had a LEEP and D&C 10 days ago and had very mild cramping for the first few days after, but never anything severe and at 6 days out just bleeding (which continues still). It's likely that your cramps are normal, but I would call your doc to be on the safe side and rule out infection.

I had cramps after my LEEP! I took it easy for a day or two, and was fine. The minute I started back to normal activities (lifting my kids, cleaning, running around, etc) I got cramps again. I'm sure it is normal, it just may be your body's way of telling you to relax a bit until it really heals.
