A lot of people have talked about taking Vitamin B 6, B 12 and folic to boost the immune system in our fight for our health. So I went out and bought this along with Gogi juice (has TONS of antioxidents and supposed to fight cancer). Anyone have an idea on how many mg of these vitamins we should be taking?
B vitamins are water soluble. What your body does not use get's washed out when you urinate. You will see your urine a neon yellow color. The neon color is the B vitamins.
It's very hard to over dose on B vitamins. I take a B 100 complex. That's all the B vitamins in one pill. A B-6 pill and inositol which is B-8.
For pre cancer cells I took these and after 3 months my pre cancer cells were gone. I like to think they were the cause for them disappearing.

It's kind of funny, I had been taking several different vitamins & minerals for hair loss (alopecia) including folic acid and selenium. After about five years, I came to the conclusion that these supplements weren't really helping my hair loss problem so I stopped taking a lot of them. I was tired of gulping down a handful of pills every day when I wasn't seeing any benefit. I don't know exactly when I tapered off the vitamins, but I would say about a year to a year and a half ago.
I don't know if this is correlated to my first abnormal pap last month, but I have started taking the folic acid and selenium again, just in case. When reading about boosting the immune system to fight dysplasia, these two popped up as ones I had been taking for many years, for a different reason, but had stopped taking about a year ago.
- His antioxidant formula (...of course...)
- 10 MG Folic acid a day (thats A LOT)
- take supplemental indole-3-carbinol, 200-400 mg a day. This is part of the cabbage family, which he suggests are great cancer fighters.
- Consulting a naturopathic doctor to get vaginal suppositories with vitamins and herbs to reverse dysplasia.
He says to do this for a month and then get a pap, and if it comes back normal, to cut folic acid to 2 MG, and to take that amount indefinately.

I can't really recall what I took when I was diagnosed. What I've done is taken a multi vitamin, which says take ne so I take two - one in the AM and one inthe PM. What I don't need the body gets rid of in urination. As for cancer I found that raw vegetables are great and green vegetables (not lettuce) are good. Tomatoes are excellent cancer fighters as is white grape juice. I think I got Total totty on line as a supplement while going through surgeies, Now its the vitamins and what I put in my mouth.
Cancer feeds on sugar. Starch (potatoes, fries, noodles, white rice) all starch once boiled and cooked it starts changing to sugar in your body. I watch closely how much and what time ofday I eat starches (so they have time to wear off) not soak in. Also I changed my noodles to an Oat pasta that you don't boil, and sometimes rice pasta. there is a new pasta out and I can't recall its name but it isn't supposed to break down like normal pasta. I live in a small town so it's not available here yet. Vitamins are a great source- I did learn a wy to see if your vitamins are good ones or not good. Take one and place it in a cup of water if it does not disenigrate in 3-4 hours its too hard for your body to digest and you'll end up passing it before your body gets what it needs. Stay focused and aware of your body- good luck.
