Question ASCUS after a LEEP

Back in june I was told that I had carinoma in situ. I then had a Leep done a few weeks later. My ob/gyn said that all of it was removed and that the margins were clear...yeah! For my 3 month follow up I was told that I had ASCUS. My ob/gyn said that it could be due to the cells trying to heal from the leep. It worries me cause I think I want another baby. They say that a "side effect" of a leep could be an incompetent cervix. That's fine and all but I was already diagnosed with an incompetent cervix years ago when I had my first son at 33 weeks, and my second son at 22weeks, and a cerclage with my last two babies. I know I want a 4th baby...go figure. Does anyone know if the leep could make my "incomepent cervix" worse? And...do you think the ASCUS could lead to carcinoma in situ again? If it comes back should I just get a hysterectomy. The Leep didn't go all that smoothly. I had to go back for "oozing" and have the bleeding stopped with the silver nitrate..ouch! To have another baby or not.....that is the question?

Re: ASCUS after a LEEP

I recently had a pap come back as HSIL (High grade intraepithelial lesion), I go for my colposcopy and biopsy tomorrow. Needless to say I am scared out of my mind and deeply depressed. Not over the proceedure but what they will find out. Either way if it turns out to be pre cancerous, I am going to have a hysterectomy, I am done having children, tubes are tied. I don't like playing with fire, know what I mean. I have been on the computer constantly and it only makes me worry more.
