Rotty please read my post its aftermath of treatment,Theysaid it wouldnt happen to me I was young and healthy and now I am TOTALLY disabled MISERABLE Please investigate because it can not saying it will but it CAN!!!

I ended up with a COMPLETE hystertomy when thats what the hell they should have done in the first place My body is slowly shutting down....

And get this I went to the TOP cancer facility IN THE WORLD and look at me now.
Im not trying to scare you love,because I was where you are at and I didnt have time to research and didnt know ANYONE who had even had cancer,so i put my faith in these experts and now yeah Im cancer free but with a HIGH price,to me the way I am now I feel like this its NOT the quanity of life,but the QUALITY this aint living TRUST me if after reading this and my other lenghty post you have ANY specific questions just write me I get on a few times a day trying to help people as best I can Good Luck to you my friend and my name is Ginger

Hi rotty,
I just wanted to tell you that I have had radiation and finished it back in October of last year. I also have had chemo (cisplatin). I have absolutely NO side effects. I was very scared going in about the possible long and short term side effects of radiation as I have heard some real horror stories but ultimately I felt I had to do WHATEVER it took to save my life and do not regret the decision one bit. I had some minor aches and pains and some bladder issues but everything pretty much resolved on it's own within a few months after treatments were completed. Everyone is different and handles treatment in different ways. I guess I was one of the lucky ones and if you need it, I hope you will be too. My Dr. told me that because of my age and the fact that I had no other health issues, I would be just fine, and I am.
Take care of yourself, try to eat right and excersise, and I'm sure you will be just fine too.

what kind of radiation? external or HDR Brachytherapy?

I had external and I believe I had 28 sessions.
