| Re: What's your opinion on this?
That depends upon whether you truly trust your doctor. His job was to remove the lesion--the entire lesion(s) on the first try. He failed. Anytime I hear a patient state that their provider told them they have "severe high-grade lesion", I can only pressume they are attempting to scare you into " a do-over" or call it a "re-bill".
If the lesion was that "severe" he should have made sure to get clean margins the first time. A "severe" lesion is the easiest to see and therefore remove.
Request a copy of your pap, colp biopsy and leep report. Compare them. IMO I would seek out another opinion if you have any doubts. Good luck.
