Heaviness/low back pain

I have been diagnosed with HSIL from a pap smear done in February. I go for a colposcopy on March 25. I have had extreme lower back pain, and some days I just feel like my entire abdominal area is like a big weight. A few shooting pains down my legs from time to time. And I'm just tired!

Are these all symptoms that go hand in hand with an HSIL diagnosis.

Thanks! The support on this board is valueable.

Re: Heaviness/low back pain

Hi,

Actually, no, those symptoms aren't symptoms of HGSIL or cervical cancer either.

They do sound like symptoms which can occur with ovarian cysts or in very rare cases, ovarian cancer. It wouldn't hurt to mention this to your doctor, just to be on the safe side.

Hugs,

Lisa
