Hi all,
I'm not sure if I am being overly worried or not so let me tell you the situation

I'm 26 and went in for my normal Pap, it came back showing mild dysplasia so they scheduled me for just a colposcopy. I went in for that and my Dr. was shocked that it was showing moderate to severe dysplasia so she took a biopsy. A week later it came back as severe dysplasia and they scheduled me for LEEP. Last Thursday I had my LEEP procedure but as they were doing it, my Dr. said that my whole cervix was covered and she had to take almost the entire surface of the cervix and then mumbled something about amputating it???? She had to use the largest loop they had and it took four different swipes to get everything. Is there any possibility that cancer can show up as severe dysplasia until a LEEP or cone biopsy is done? I have just got so many mixed things from this Dr. I have become worried. I won't get the LEEP results back until the end of this week. As my dr. and her nurse were finishing up they both had almost shocked and worried looks on their faces about how much they had to take. My husband and I don't have kids yet and although we want to adopt, would them taking so much of my cervix cause me to not have children in the future? Thanks so much for any
and all feedback.
