How urgent should I be getting this procedure done cause it seems like all this is taking a long time, they haven't even scheduled my surgery yet and should I be in pain? Should I go to the ER?
Sorry you are so upset and confused but you seriously should contact a doctor you trust (I see a gynocological oncologist - in my opinion, a specialist is the only one to diagnose and treat all the various scenarios of pre- cervical cancer and heaven forbid cervical cancer itself if yours as progressed to that) and ask him/her all of your questions so they can give you details answers.
In addition if you are in pain, and bleeding and it is unrelated to your period or abnormal for you - call your doctor NOW - please!
This board is made up of a lot of patients, who have had many, many experiences and who also have many opinions and words of advice. All very helpful - but nothing takes the place of a medical professional.
Please contact your doctor and good luck!
