What sort of side effects did anyoe have after having a LEEP? I mean in terms of pain and discharge? I know I am only on day 4 of ecovery but the cramping is getting annoying. It isn't unbearable, but constat cramping that I can't seem to control with ibuprofin makes it so I just can't sit comfortably and it causes me lower back pains as well. Also, I understand the discharge but how long will I have to deal with it? I know it is possibly everyone heals differently and it depends on the amount of tissue removed, but I am still looking for a possible time frame.
Pepper, I didn't have a LEEP, rather I had a cone biopsy, but I think healing is similar.
Are you resting a lot? I stayed in bed the remainder of the day of my cone and most of the next day. I got up the 2nd day after the cone, but rested a few times that day. Then I went to work on the 3rd day (and rested a lot that night). After that I seemed ok. I know I had some cramping, but nothing that a bit if ibuprofen didn't handle.
As far as discharge, I had discharge for 10-15 days after my cone. It was constant, reddish-brown (more brown), and pretty clear. It was enough to wear a panty liner every day for 2 weeks. I know by day 20 or so, there was no more discharge.
I hope that helps and I hope you are feeling better very soon. Take it easy. You get one chance to heal. The better healing you have, the fewer possible complications further down the road (esp if you are going to be trying to conceive.)

Reason: Added most of last paragraph.
I don't do any lifting, I'm am not running any marathons or anything. I am actually out of work right now for a partial rotator cuff tear, so I am getting plenty of rest. All I do really is go to school. When home, I rest with the occasional vaccuuming and whatnot household chores. I have noticed today that the discharge has changed from a light, light brownish to grey..I know..weird..gray. And not a faint grey, like elephant grey. There is no swelling that I notice, no fever, no infectious smell, so I dunno if I just am weird, lol. it tends to fit my personality. Thanks for the encouragement though.
Hm, the only thing I'd say is lay off the vacuuming and some of the bending, for a week or two (if you can). It is possible that even though it doesn't seem much, you might be pulling on the scar/scab tissue and it is bleeding. OR it is just how your body is healing. I don't know.
As far as gray . . . I think mine might have gotten that color at one point. I figured as long as it was clear I was ok, regardless of the color
