burning, itching, swelling after LEEP

I had the LEEP procedure done on 1/16. I seem to be doing well with recovery; however, my only discomfort is that the outside of my vagina (my lips inlcuded) are swollen and itch REALLY badly. When I urinate it burns that skin that is itchy. I have not seen anywhere where this is typical nor did my physician include this as normal or abnormal post-op symptoms. Some relief from this would be greatly appreciated!

Re: burning, itching, swelling after LEEP

I wrote this in your other thread, but it sounds to me like it is an allergic reaction to something that was used during your LEEP. You might try taking some benadryl to see if it helps.
