dear confused-- In all of my research on leep I only heard to abstain from sex for 4-6 weeks, which is much less than 90 days!! The reason for the wait is because your cervix was cut, so think of it as an open wound. you don't want anything to touch it because it can get infected. I'm assuming it takes at least 4 weeks to heal. I have heard other women say their periods were different after the leep, I don't know becuase I just had my leep last week. But please! don't let anything come in contact with your cervix for at least another 2 weeks!
