Question how long is it normal to have dark discharge after a colposcopy biopsy?
I had a colposcopy biopsy 10 days ago. I had a little bit of bleeding and discharge a couple days later and then nothing until about 3 days ago and it has been a dark colored. Everything I have read said that this would go away within a week. Should I be worried?

Hi well the webmd site said bleeding can occur for up to 2 weeks.

Hi,

The bleeding etc lasted 5 weeks after my first colposcopy which I have been told is not common so I guess I was just unlucky.

Had my 2nd colposcopy last week and am still bleeding.

I think it's different for everyone but it for most people it stops after a week or two.
