high grade glandular cin, endometrial biopsy, scan

Hi, problem still ongoing, have been under hospital for 2 years now, and have just had endometrial biopsy, and am scheduled for a scan. Mytop hat cone biopsy came back last december - undetermined endo margins, and as they have done a deep leep, unsure as to whether can have further treatment there. ah the long process of another results wait.

Re: high grade glandular cin, endometrial biopsy, scan

I hear you! It's the waiting that is the worse. I think from test to test once we can put a label on it, a name, for the diagnosis it makes it easier to deal with. But it's the waiting, and the stresses of "what ifs"

I hope you find out something soon! What have they recommended outside of what has been done so far?

Re: high grade glandular cin, endometrial biopsy, scan

hi, thanks for reply, well they questioned why I didnt want a hysterectomy and are recommending i have one, saying is the only guarantee that it will 'get rid of it all', or will keep going back and forth. Am going to decide after results, am getting little concerned now as had gcin for 2 years, but really dont want a hysterectomy. Will have another consultation with gyn onc dr in a couple of weeks, need to ring after had the scan. But yes the waiting around and just wanting the all clear gets frustrating after 2 years of constant visits back and forth.

Fingers crossed eh ?? lol
