I had an ultrasound weeks ago for a right ovarian cyst, a Pelvic CT on Wednesday and a follow up today with my OB/GYN who advised me to start taking birth control pills for at least two moths in hopes that it will shrink my 4.7cm fluid filled cyst, truth is, I would like to start trying with my partner for a baby and I dont want BC pills and I am scared to think I may need surgery to remove it or drain it as he mentioned...I have had this cyst since October 2010 and it has grown 1 cm....I dont know what to do.....any advice? Also, did any of your cyst resolve on their own after months and months of waiting it out? Or did you have surgery and if so, how did it go for you?
I am terribly worried and confused and depressed.........
