It was probably your cervix
The cervix is large, smooth, round and has a tiny dimple in the center. Also, it produces normal discharge that varies throughout the month depending on how fertile you are. When you are close to ovulating, the cervix produces a lot of "eggwhite-like", stringy, slippery mucous which is very friendly to sperm and helps them reach your uterus. At other times, the discharge will be thick and white.
But, it never hurts to see your gynecologist if you have any concern about your body. Better safe than sorry, and it'd be good to get reassurance anyway
