Hello! I went the the OBYGN and had a pap smear, it came back abnormal. After having another pap, a biopsy and a leep with a cone biopsy, my doctor came back to me and said that the pathology report came back that they did not get all my cells (which were HGSIL CIN 3). My doctor also told me that she was confident that she was able to get them all even though the pathology report said she didn't. The doctor said that when she cauterized the area she removed cells from it would of killed off any remaining cells. I am not sure I believe that. I go back in next month to have my 6 month check up. I just wanted to know if any body has had the same issues.
going threw same thing now except the doctor never said they sure they go them all. my 6 mth ccheck up isn,t till april thou. pleaselet me know how it goes, good luck.
I have the same thing as you. I was diagnosed with severe CIN3 and just got a cone biopsy. I am verry anxious and scared ...the results will be in on February 29th. This was a big signal alarm for me to change my life...I am starting acid folic vitamins and other herbal stuff. Yoga is helping me alot too.
