Question Silly Question;but important
Last yr,spotting(post menopausal)Ultra sound,cervix closed.HPV,in past. I,incerted a tampon,just to make sure spotting from vagina,it was(small amount) Question is: If,blood came from vagina;then why is Dr.checking my cervix D&C also;cervix is closed.I know he's making sure I don't have cancer,or? Spotting,came back,the other day,thats why,D&C in 2 wks.

Your cervix is inside your vagina. Thus when it or your uterus bleeds, the blood comes out of your vagina.
