from ASCUS to LGSIL to what next?

In March of last year 2011 I went for my regular pelvic and breast exam. I am 39 years old.The pap came back ASCUS with high risk hpv. A week later they did a colposcopy and it cam back good so they told me to come back in 3 months for a repeat pap. I did and it came back ASCUS with high risk hpv. The dr. did a coposcopy and he found cervicitis no cancer but he did cryo and he cauterized it once a week and when I went back for my repeat pap last week, it came back LGSIL.
That freaked me out. I am scheduled to get a coposcopy in 1 week.
Isn't LGSIL a step above ASCUS? Does this mean it it trying to progress into cancer? My dr doesn't do the watch and wait thing. He will be doing some kind of butchery to me either another cryo or leep.
What is going on with me and will it ever go away?

Ok so it has been about 7 weeks. I finally got my colposcopy yesterday. I was supposed to get it a week later from my original post but I changed to a different dr.
I had the colpo yesterday and they said it would be about 2 weeks for the result.
