Scared, could this be ovarian cancer?
For the past week I have been having lower back pain and pain in my lower abdomen area. The pain comes and goes and can vary from side to side. I have the coil fitted so no longer have periods and limited period pain. The night before the pains started a lump appeared behind my right ear which is possibly a swollen gland. Now I am convincing myself the two are linked and this could be ovarian cancer. I have an appointment to have blood work done tomorrow. Anyone any words of help? These are my only symptoms.

It actually sounds more like an infection. It is not uncommon to get a pelvic infection with a coil or loop. As to the lump behind your ear, that is not usually a sinister lymph node to come up. That is more likely to be reacting to an Infection as well. Good luck for tomorrow. Sera
