they gave me 1 xanax to take when i got to the office, honestly it takes 1 hour for xanax to even take effect so knowing in advance i took my anxiety medication.
i go in and the worst part of the entire procedure was the injection of numbing medication. HOLY ... PAIN. be prepared for that. once you get past that, the worst is over.
the smell was absolutely horrible. its the worst smell i've ever had to sit through my entire life.
you're not going to feel a thing until about an hour to two hours after the procedure. i'd talk to you primary care doctor to see if they can give you a pain medication like tramadol. (i had some left over from an accident i had) basic anti inflammatory/pain medication will work as well.
the next day you will feel 100% better.
