CinIII and AIS - need answer!


Hello
I was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in situ and CinIII last months. 2 days after i found out about my abnormal smear test result i had the lletz done and the gynecological oncologist said that if everything went well he will see me in 6 months? So far I still havent received my test result. My question is : is it possible to remove AIS with lletz treatment? I have heard that it is more difficult to get rid of AIS. Please help! And how am I sure if they have received all of the cinlll and ais? I am so cunfused.

How long has it been since your LLETZ? You should get you test result back within 5 to 10 days....good luck!

I had my lletz 4 weeks ago. I am soo worried to find out the result. It it possible to remove AIS and CIN3 with LLETZ treatment?

Call your dr again if you are worried. Ask if the margins were clear of the cin3 and ais. You have a right to your reports and the noisy wheel gets the grease. In the meantime, breathe. It is a good sign they haven't called you back right away to get more, so maybe they got it all. Stay hopeful you will beat this.
