| AGUS and high risk HPV
I just got my pap results back and it shows atypical glandular cells. I have had abnormal paps in the past but they were atypical squamous cells and usually went away by my follow ups. I have high risk HPV and cervical cancer runs in my family (my grandmother just passed after of a 5 year battle with it). I haven't had a "period" in about 4 months just some random spotting here and there. I am having the colposcopy next week (I have had one before, so I am familiar with that procedure).
I am only 23 years old, I have a 4 year old child, and I am a newly wed. I guess what I am looking for is more information. I can't seem to find much online or in my nursing books. I am confused and scared about the whole thing. I hope someone can help me and give me some more insight into this.
Thanks
