| Atypical Glandular Cells Please Help!
I'm new to this board, have been reading threads but thought it was time to post for myself. I'm looking for some advice/help.
Last month my Pap test came back with Atypical Glandular Cells with Endometrial Cells present. I have had 2 abnormal paps years ago that never amounted to anything .My family doc downplayed this result and told me she was referring me to a Gyn. I obviously researched these findings myself and am finding lots of conflicting info. Some sites say this can be serious and others seem inconclusive. Should I be worried ? My dr doesn't seem to be and neither does the Gyn who just got back to me today with an appt for an education appt?? at the Women's Health Centre at the hospital for January 31st and a procedure date on February 20th. Not sure what the procedure is as the receptionist had no idea! I'm so confused as to what's going on and not sure if I should be stressing about this or not! Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.
I'm 37 years old, have had 3 boys and had an endometrial ablation last year for very heavy bleeding since having my third son.
