I know this may sound a bit sick but anyway - for a while know ive noticed that when i go to the toilet i always find blood coming up on the toilet paper when i wipe. Could this be cancer? Please help me, this has been happening for a while. (im 17/m)

Hi leatherface,
Anytime blood is comming from there needs to be seen by a doctor. Yes it could be serious but I will bet it's probably just a fissure or a hemeroid. Get it checked out to be sure!
The doctor will ask you some questions, and may not even look at your butt. If he does, it's painless and really not as bad as one would think. (trust me, Im a self-consious female and had to have one, took every bit of bravery I had in my system to do that! But afterwards realized it really wasn't bad at all)
Does it hurt? How much blood is there? What color is the blood? (bright red, dark red) All this is important.
Honestly, I wouldn't be worried about it. Just get into that doctor and tell him/her about it. Untill then, increase your fiber intake (veggies, fruits, grains), drink TONS AND TONS of water, excersise.

I have this same problem when I go to the restroom. There will be blood on the tissue. I have no clue as to what it is. It has been like this for about 2-3 months. The blood ranges in size from a dime to about a quarter or so. I am getting really worried. What is this and what should I do.

i have had the same symptoms...i first had blood around the stool, and was on medication...but now the blood is mixed with the stool. if the blood is in the stool, this could be a serious thing. i wish i could give u more information, but i am right now about to ungergo many tests for this. my docter said that it is a good chance of cancer, but that is in my case, please dont' think that it means you have it. i've had a long history of health problems...ulcers, anemia, and so on...
i can give you more information as i get it. maybe it will help you out a bit. i should probably be going in for tests next week.
i'm the same age as you, and i know that you're looking anywhere u can for answers, just as i am. but i would go see ur docter and tell him/her any other symptoms you may have.

i have a little amount of blood that comes out when i go to the toilet. it is bright red. there is a sore on my anus where the blood comes from. I can see it in the mirror. is this hemmroids or a just a sore?
