Pregnant bleeding with clots help! - Cancer: Colon Message Board

Im currently almost 25 wks pregnant Ive had rectal bleeding that fills the toilet off & on for two years now sometimes theres clots too. its quiet a bit of blood about as much as a very heavy menstrual cycle Im so afriad to mention it to my dr because my Hubby had a colonscopy & he said it was very painful.my regular dr two years ago wanted to do a colonscopy but I chickened out. Im only 29 almost 30 yrs old heres a little back ground don't no if its related to the bleeding

10 years ago I had Gallstones really bad I was pregnant so they made me hold off on treatment two weeks after my baby was born I had a very bad case of acute pancreaitis the Dr's thought there was a stone stuck but never did find the stone the eended up taking my gallbladder & said it was gallbladder disease & they couldnt believe a 19 yr old had such a horrable gallblader from the day they took my Gallblader I got IBS anything I eat causes Diahrea once in awhile I'LL GET A BRIEF BREAK & have normal bowls Anyways I DONT NO IF THE IBS can cause rectal bleeding & clots my dr never mentioned it.Now here I AM Pregnant # 4 & I HAVE PLACENTA PREVIA & ALREADY AM AT RISK FOR Heavy bleeding Will they even do anything for the rectal bleeding this far in my pregnancy with a high risk preg??What should I DO ANYONE Have any insight on what might be causing such heavy bleeding??Thanks in advance...

Melonie you need to tell your Dr. NOW. Only he can decide how
dangerous this is for you and your baby. At the very least he'll want to make sure you aren't losing too much blood. If he wants to check your colon do it. Your husband may have had a sigmoid
which is when they just check half of the colon and you are
awake for that. It can be a little uncomfortable but not bad.
If they check your whole colon you will be put under and there
is no pain with that. Don't go by what your husband says. I think
a lot of men have a low tolerance for pain. If they had to be
pregnant and give birth our race would die off!!!!!!!!
