Ever since last June I saw bright blood on the toilet paper. Now I went to the doctor a few weeks later and he felt around and told me nothing was there and it was probably a hemmoroid. Throughout the year it's been coming on and off but more recently I've been seeing it. It's always the same about but now I see it when I get a rash and wipe a lot when I have the rash or scratch when I have the rash. Also, to make things more clearer hopefully, when I have the rashes and wipe, I'm still wiping stool...so am I not wiping properly? (I think I do wipe properly but I don't understand). I'm really scared. Also, I get this pain in my butt/thi if I stand too long. I will say I'm a bit overweight and I sit a lot in a pretty lousy chair at home...also...I know this is a lot but bear with me...I have a new cat and ever since I got him (last November) I've been having shortness of breath...but since I am a hypocondriact I come to rash conclussions. The last thing I wanted to ask is when I go running with my friend, after we run there's a metallic taste in my mouth. It's never happened before and I'm just so worried.

The metallic tase is likely due to very laboured breathing it brings blood to the mouth area and nasal area, that is most likely what you are tasting.

The blood at the other end is most likely hemorrhoids. Try prep H for a week, it is uncomfortable but if after that week you notice lessening of the pain and bleeding you then know it is even more likely 'roids.

If on the other hand you still are extremly worried ask for a colonoscopy.

Thank you for replying...I do have Prep H and I have been using it on and off. The only time I do see blood is from rashes and if I scratch or keep on wiping when I have them. Do you, or anyone else know why it is I get rashes?

The rashes I have seem to be coming from not wiping well enough. And oddly, I get them mostly if I shower then right after move around (either lots of walking or standing).

The pain I'm thinking could be from my chair...
