Cats, lovey, how are you ? All healed up from you surgery ?
Yes, the last zap was Monday, thanks for remembering. I am at last feeling the affects of the radiation, and do feel burned and chafed some but overall not at all bad and didn't feel much of anything until the weekend.
Surgery should be at the beginning of November.
I am really torn about the hysterectomy issue -- about 1/2 or less of the women who I have heard from, on this site and others, say they had other things removed - ovaries, etc. But of that 1/2, a certain portion already had some problems in the area and the removal was not necessarily done just due to cancer.
If cancer is going to recur in the area, isn't it better to have an organ to remove later, rather than just have it embed it tissue ? Or does it just embed in tissue ? Is the idea that the micromets must be there already, so just take the dang thing out ?
So this is what I would likely get a 2nd opinion on.
This last chunk of chemo did give me mouth sores again, only not at all as many and they didn't last as long. I do have a prescription paste for them, and that helped tremendously.
I am sure I will have more questions as time goes by, as I keep having these wierd surgery dreams.
Thanks for asking about me --
Jeni
