What causes colon cancer -- and how can i prevent it??

I just started a high fiber diet (yesterday)... im eating tons of those organic whole wheat bran snacks... to try and get 200% of the recommended daily requirement

Do you think this will help??

Limit red meat. Eat a high fiber diet.

I just got on a high fiber diet (about 2 days ago).... ive been eating all kinds of whole-wheat organic snacks... that have about 11% of the RDV of fiber in a single cracker... and ive been eating a bunch

I noticed today (and right now)... ive had tons of gas..... is this jus tth eresult of ym body getting used to all the fiber... or will it always be like this as long as i eat tons of fiber???

Hi,
You don't prevent colon cancer with a diet. Just relax. Live your life, have colonoscopies after a certain age.

Harry can answer this better than I can......but, yes, fiber causes gas and alot of it until your body adjusts to this 'new' ingredient!!
