Hi, I was just wondering how you have been feeling. Are you through with your chemo now? Is your dh still doing ok? I noticed that you have a colonoscopy coming up and just wanted to say that I will say extra prayers that everything is fine.

DH had his ct scan this past Monday and we will go the 29th to find out the results. Hopefully he will be still be ned. The main thing I am worried about tho is the very tiny spot they found on his lung this time, although the oncologist wasn't a bit worried about it. Every time he has coughed since Nov. I keep trying to remember if he coughed like that before the scan in Nov.

. I know I am my own worst enemy.

Thanks, dee, I am feeling fine.It is just that my oncologist wants to find out the reason for the slight pain I am having in the low left side of pelvis. It was all checked out last year for gynecological problems but nothing was found so the next step is colonoscopy. The funny thing is I have not had it for the past six months.... before I started my treatment for lymphoma. My chemo is finished, at least until I have a scan next month. I had my last antibody treatment yesterday.

I do hope the results for your DH come back good! I know the feeling of anxiety we have in noticing every little "sign" in our beloveds' health. Mine has had cough since early 2004 but he recently had cataract surgery and had to have heart and lungs checked before the surgery...everything came back fine. This is why I guess we say, life will never be the same again! His CEA has been slowly rising and he has to have it redone next month along with his scan....imagine both of us with scans within days of each other!

Hi Alison, good to hear that you are off of chemo right now. I will say extra prayers that all is clear and you can be on a break for a long time. We have a friend with non-hodgkins and he is off of chemo right now too, waiting for his scan. If we have learned anything, I think it is to learn how to live normally while waiting.

I will update after we get back Monday.

A scan for each of you within a few days does add to the anxiety, doesn't it. DH is really good about putting it in the back of his mind, although he is quiter than normal right now.

Hopefully the rising cea won't mean anything and his and yours will show only good. I will keep you both in my prayers as always.

Alison I've just read that you are having a colonoscopy on the 9th.It's so frustrating isn't it? You have been through enough lately.

I will keep my fingers crossed that both you and your husband get good results from your tests and you can finally have some peace of mind and start enjoying life without cancer dominating everything.

Dee, I hope the results were good....I look forward to seeing your post. Lalee, thanks for the good wishes...it is good to see you posting. Hope everything is well with you. Yes, life without having to think about cancer would be great!! Cannot imagine it after nearly four years of it dominating our life!
