I hads a colonoscopy yesterday and it went well and everyone is right when they say that the prep is the worst..and IT WAS, drinking that "salt water" and going to the bathroom literally every 10 min with it pouring out of you (sorry too much info I know, even the fleet enemas were awful) but at the hospital I felt very comfortable!

all the nurses were very nice and understanding, I even had a cute male nurse as well that made me quite comfortable and chatted with me before I was sedated ..nice benefit

I thought I remembered seeing the a glimpse of the procedure on the tv above me but after that nothing, I don't even remember how I got into the recovery room, it was amazing. I felt absolutely perfect esp when I finally got to eat and drink something!!!! I was so excited about that when the nurse asked me what I wanted to eat/drink, haha. After about a half hour in the recovery room I went home and believe it or not had so much energry after napping for a few hours, it felt like nothing happened at all...weird huh? I'm 22 yrs old..yes very young..I was the youngest patient in the recovery room and if I can do it ANYONE can! By the way the bleeding in the stool is from hemmroids.. they confirmed it and said I have nothing to be alarmed about, so that is done and overwith.
