I jist got back from my procedure. Actually I've been home for awile. I went a little early{we are Military} so they didn't mind taking me early.
They did the concious sedation some of you were talking about. I have to say, at first I was leary about it but now I am a big fan of it! I actually remember walking to my car and stayed awake the long drive home and carried on a conversation with my husband. You do feel some of the procedure but it is so minimal that you don't even know what is going on.
Now for my results. I had no polyps this time!! I did have some internal hemorrids which were the cause of my bleeding this time. I am so relieved. I am good to go for 5 more yrs. Now as to the cause of my now 25 lb weight loss, who knows? Thyroid? I do have pain there and it is time for my follow-up. I have a nodule there that is quite large that might have gotten too big.
