I am looking for a good colon resection surgeon in central Florida - Cancer: Colon Message Board

I live in central Florida in a city called The Villages. It is located between Leesburg and Ocala. And is about 30 miles north west of Orlando. I am thinking that I may need to find a good surgeon to do a colon resection. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Yes, my husband just had a transverse colon resection done by Dr. Louis Barr at Florida Hospital. He and his group of residents were WONDERFUL ! Very attentive, kind and always answered all of our questions. Hope this helps.
