| Update on partners lower left symptoms!
I just wanted to update on my partners symptoms.
After suffering a lower left ache everyday since the start of October my partner found out on 31st December that he had Kidney stones and was told by his GP that those were the probable cause of his pain, this eased his mind quite alot and was refered to a Urologist.
He seen the Urologist yesterday who told him that Kidney stones dont usualy cause constant aching pain in the lower left for so long and has now refered him for a CT scan. He suffers no pain in his back and he is now back to being worried again due to what the Urologist said!
Another thing that is worrying him is the sickness feeling he has been suffering for about 6 weeks or so, he gets an ache above his belly button that is just below his rib cage join that makes him feel sick, he sometimes belches alot but has no acid reflux? He is now thinking that the nausea is a bad sign, he hasnt been sick and was prescribed Motilium and Mebeverine that sort of help!
He has had numerous blood tests, Barium Enema, Stool and Urine sample all come back clear?
As he has had this pain for 5 months now would the pain have got worse if it was Cancer?
Also how good is an Abdominal CT scan in detecting things? This is primarliy to see were the stones are but will it show up any other things such as lumps in his bowel etc?
