For anyone here who has lost a loved one to colon cancer and that loved one used Hospice care at the end of their battle, I wanted to ask what hospice did exactly to make the person more comfortable. I know that they administer pain meds but my mom does not have any pain and she is approaching a time when hospice will probably need to be called in. So if the person does not have pain, what exactly does hospice do?
