My wife had her rectum removed due to Stage 4 colon cancer. She had for about 6 months an ilostomy bag. She is still receiving chemo (5-fu with Avastin) and from time to time get a very sore butt when she go the bathroom. She take medication to help with her bowel movements to help "form" them better. She will go several time a day, up to 10. Has anyone experienced this issue? If so, have you found anything that help reduce the pain, or types of food that aggravate or that should be avoided? Thanks for your help....
Hello I don't think this will be something new, but just in case your wife hasn't tried these, I've found some relief by using either Boudreaux's Butt Paste or Dermoplast Pain Relieving Spray. I hope maybe some others will give you more suggestions. May God bless
