| Stage 4 Colon Cancer
Hello Everyone:
My husband was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2007.He was 35 at the time. Cancer is not hereditary in his family. He had the surgery and was cancer free for a year. He is now stage 4 and the cancer has moved to his liver. Surgery isn't and option just chemo and radiation therapy. I heard of hepatic artery infusion. I wanted to know have any ever received this treatment and how were the results of it. I am 35 years of age and never thought so early in age I would have to think about “the big C ". We have a 15 year old daughter together and at some point I thought we would have another child. Also I want to be as supportive as possible like other threads I read, I been depressed, anger, upset, etc. It hurt so bad to see the person you love to suffer and be in pain and you feel so helpless. The doctors never want to give a life expectancy, but one doctor said 2 years tops does that sound about right. My prayers go out to everyone on these threads and thank each and every one you for taking time out to post your experiences.
