| awaiting biopsy
Hi there,
Im a 34 yr old female who has had rectal bleeding for 2.5 yrs, my gp has passed it off as haemorroids whenever i told him( I have a 5yr old and 12 month old) but of late the bleeding changed and he booked me in for a colonoscopy to have what he called my haemorroid injected.
I woke from my procedure to be told I havent got one single haemorroid but an advanced pre cancerous polyp - the surgeon could detect precancerous from microscope and has sent it for biopsy - results in 10 days.
if there is anyone in a similar place or has been my big question is if its been bleeding for over two years will that = cancer , or maybe im one of the lucky ones.
he added it was larger than normal and very rare for my age?
scared but positive and saying my prayers ,
