Very worried

Hello,

I had robotic prostatectomy on 8/23/12 I'm 47. They got all the cancer and spared the nerves, the cancer did not spread.

It's been a very hard recovery with lots of pain.

This week I have noticed a change in my bowel movements. I have going much more(up to 4 times on one day. And there seems to be a feeling of pressure in my bowels/rectum. I'm very worried that I now have colon cancer. Please help!

Re: Very worried

i think you probably just have a bit of an upset tummy and are having a bit of diarrhea i wouldnt worry about it because bowel cancer grows very slowly it takes over five years after getting bowel cancer to have any symptoms so basically you would have had bowel cancer at the time you where having the operation. ive youre worried though i would just book a quick visit to the doctors to ease your worrys and give you piece of mind.
