Sister diagnose with cancer, have concerns
My 55 year old sister has just been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, metastases to the liver. Prognosis not good. I now am worried, as I have been having lower right abdominal pain and pencil and ribbon stools about every two weeks. I have been diagnosed with ibs. Had a colonscopy about 3 years ago which was normal. Ultra sound of lower pelvic about 6 months ago was neg. not sure if I should be worried or if I should request another colonoscopy.

So sorry to hear about your sister's prognosis. I don't think you should be worried, but I think you should ease your mind by requesting another colonoscopy.
