Endoscopy/Colon - Pathology still not back

Is it normal for pathology to take so long in my case?

I am 38 and had what I thought was a hemorrhoid and I thought it was causing my irregular shaped bowl movements. Went to my GP and she referred to a GI. Had a colonoscopy on Jan. 23, 2013. They removed three items- two polyps and microscopic inflammation. They said it would take 10-14 days. At the 10 day mark they sent it to the cytopathologist. At the 15 day mark it was sent to the hematologist and I was told it will take another 5-7 days. Additional info: one of the polyps had white blood cells and I am completely healthy otherwise, yet since the procedure I am in a low grade pain similar to gas or an agitate ulcer.
