Question 87 years old colon cancer. Anyone know a good colon surgeon in Atlanta area???

My father (healthy and 87 years old) was just diagnosed with colon cancer. He has a large mass inside the colon for about 3 cm long. Colonoscopy doctor did some biopsy and the result is colon cancer. They cannot determine the stage of the cancer.

Does anyone know a good Colon surgeon in Atlanta area? We are thinking about a doctor can oversee the entire process like an oncologist or a Colon and Rectal Surgeon. Do we have cancer team in Emory hospital?

My father has done CT scan, colonoscopy, and barium enema. Do we need MRI before the surgery? What about chemotherapy?

Any ideas or referrals are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
