Diarrhea after esophageal cancer surgery
 

Recently(like 2 and a half weeks ago) my Dad had surgery to remove a tumor in his esophagus/stomach...he still has a stomach,see it was reconsruction surgery where what was removed had to be replaced with parts of your intestines.

Anyway,he seems to be doing well but everytime he eats he gets diarrhea?

Is that normal,could it be something serious?

no my sister had the op just before xmas and she had diarea at first docter told her this was normal and would settle in its own time its getting a bit better now as every time she ate she had to run for the toilet at first
