For about a month I have been able to regurgitate my food after I eat. If I think about it it happens more often. Once I do it it happens for an hr or so after. It sometimes won't even be the last food I ate but food I ate earlier. I went to ent and he looked at top of esophogus and vocal cords and looked good. Then I had a barilium swallow test done and it looked all good they said. I think it has to do with a lot of stress but not sure. Just worried its cancer. Taking pills for acid reflux for few days and sometimes seems to help then other times think its almost worst. I burp a lot after I eat to it seems like but stomach doesn't hurt and have no pain.
It sounds like you have GERD. You should go to a gastroenterologist and have an endoscopy to be assured there is no damage to the lower portion of our esophagus. They can also check to see if you have a haitus hernia. I doubt it's throat cancer, but could turn into Barrett's Esophagus which could lead to cancer if not treated. Take care
I had the swallow test done and they said I didn't have the haitus hernia. Just seems weird it just started one day and hasn't stopped. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it don't. The medication for acid reflux might be helping not sure. My normal doc said to have the endoscopy done next just to see whats going on. Should I still see an gastro doctor instead of normal doctor?
