I am a 30 year old female who was diagnosed
with papillary renal cell carcinoma december
2000 I am 5"4 115pds I had my right kidney
removed the day after christmas along with a tumor the size of a football,the doctors say the tumor had been there for at least 7-10 years,how can this happen and not notice it for 10 years,the cancer went to 8 of my lymph nodes and to my adrenal gland which they had taken those out to.I am recovering just fine but my concern is the reoccurance and what is my life span now.If anyone has gone through this or knows someone who has gone through this please email me.
