TREExGHOST Newbie (male) Join Date: Apr 2012 Location: waterford ny united states Posts: 1	von hippel lindau> testing for my kids i need help with finding out how to get my medical records from my youth to determine what mutation the doctors would look for in my children. i was told today (lol) that i in fact had been tested as a child.......... i was never told i carried the gene for von hippel lindau ( VHL ). i found out in 2009 that i had cancer VHL since then i have had a 3rd of both my kidneys removed and my left adreanal gland.
