Sister Admitted To Hospital on Vacation - Cancer: Lung Message Board

My sister is Stage IV went to Arizona with her boyfriend and two other sisters. Needed oxygen on the plane lasted from Monday (arrivig there late) to Wednesday - she was vomiting and needed to be admitted they said she was dehydrated and also has fluid on the lung. I can't believe her doctor told her it would be Ok to travel. She is weak and I only get bits and pieces of those who ae there with her. I asked them to bring her home because I don't want her to die there. She was only diagnosed on January 30th and cannot believe that the end would be this close.

Hi Demsey- I am so sorry to hear about your sister. I knwo it is very hard to go though this with someone you love so much. My husband is also terminally ill with lung cancer, I could not imagine being so far away from him. If I forget to take my cell phone when I go to the grocery store which is only a mile away from home, I panic.

I hope she is home soon!
