I would like some feed back if anyone has had any experience with IIIA NSC Any feedback on outcomes, treatments, what to expect, is it more hopeful than 3b?... What as a care giver should I be aware of? Is thier such a thing as "cure" of this stage? This is all so confusing, first they say he needs palative care, then the next dr. is saying he can be cured? Yet they gave him a permante disability tag for our truck, and unable to return to work? Im getting so many mixed messages. He is back in chemo and is still in much pain from the surgery, they increased his neurotin (for pain) and oxycotten and codine.. his surgery was march1st. He is cold all the time,( he uses an electric blanket to be up in the chair) weak, nauseated, walks with a cane. Most the time confused (im guessing from the drugs)Is this how lung cancer just "is" and Ill never know from day to day if he is really getting better, Im so afraid I will miss signs he is becomming more ill...He was diagnosed sept 2003, then chemo, then surgery, now back to chemo. Has anyone had simalar experiences with this wishy washy, type of answers from the dr's. thank you for your time.!
