| A dieing mother...
My mother has been to the doctor 2 times and the E.R. once. She has been diagnosed with Empysema, and Chronic Histoplasmosis. I'm just wondering if she could have lung cancer and it not be visiable on her x-rays, since this is the only thing she has had done as of yet. My mother has become sick overnight it seems, and she is having so much pain in her diaphram rib area, and complains of feeling full all the time, she has no appetite, and her energy level has declined over half. She has no insurance, doesn't qualify for a medical card, and doesn't have enough credits for Social Security, husband makes to much money for her to qualify for disabilty, yet to little to pay the $121.00 a week for insurance. My mother is dieing before my eyes and I don't know what to do about it. We have found a doctor that doesn't charge much, got a respitory company to give a nebulizer, and a relative to loan her their oxygen tank, God does work miracles!!! But she still seems to be going down hill everyday. So back to my question.... Could she have lung cancer and it not show up on a chest x-ray? Thanks for any input!
